The Woman Who Taught a Generation

Katateeb (plural of Kuttab) were special schools that taught Quran and reading by one person only. They were among the first schools in the neighbourhood and have to this day shaped the identity of the place. One of the teachers who is always remembered is Ms. Muneera. Through the testimonies from former students we get a better understanding about the education at the time.
